Description/Blazon
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall consisting of the side view of a stylized cart, the wheel gold and the body frame (ends and floor) of white supporting a yin-yang symbol in the colors of Korea, the upper area of red bearing a gold fleur-de-lis to the left and a gold crescent at top and the lower area of blue bearing a gold fleur-de-lis to the right, all above a red scroll with the inscription "WITH VEHICLES WE SUPPORT" in gold letters, the scroll following the circumference of the wheel and terminating beneath the ends of the cart. The two areas between the yin-yang symbol and the "corners" formed by the floor and ends of the cart and the four areas between the lower spokes of the wheel are pierced.

Symbolism
The design was suggested by the motto "With Vehicles We Support," the cart is this instance supporting the yin-yang symbol for service in Korea and the two fleurs-de-lis referring to service in Europe and the crescent for service in Tunisia, World War II. The yin-yang symbol also refers to the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation awarded the battalion and the three Meritorious Unit citations won by the battalion for its Korean service are alluded to by the red motto scroll, red being the color of the Meritorious Unit Streamer and ribbon emblem.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 13 June 1967.
